Young Zayne Grant, son of Amanda and Lincoln Grant, came to the 2017 Christmas in Columbia parade with his "Nana" Sandi Greer, and they positioned themselves at the corner where Zayne's grandfather "Dida", CPD Officer Charles Greer, was on duty directing traffic during the annual event. Zayne and all the children along the parade route from the industrial park to the public square enjoyed the lights, sirens and candy shared from the floats.

Christmas in Columbia begins with Rotary Breakfast

Christmas in Columbia is going on all day today, Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, on the public square and at Lindsey Wilson. The first and best thing to do is begin with a hot, hearty breakfast by the Rotary Club members. Chefs and servers pictured at the Rotary breakfast are, from left, Phil Hanna, JD Zornes, Hunter Durham, Jerry Holt, Ted Caldwell, Dick and Linda Fitzpatrick and Derrick Kisita. The report nearing the 9:30amCT finish-up was that this was even bigger than last year.
