Of the other two, one was a terse text-only announcement from M. Cravens, who ran a drug and notions store, while the other touted Singer Sewing Machines as "the best gift Christmas gift for wife, mother, daughter, sister or sweetheart." (The ad didn't name the agent or give a location, but a news brief from earlier in the year reported that Mr. W.L. Taylor, the local Singer representative, had rented the little green brick building in the east corner of the square and that he would "keep a good supply of machines on the market." Sadie had added stylish pink blush and smokey eyeshadow from her mom’s makeup collection before leaving home. Her parents are Nick and Kristy Bright of Knifley. Nick is an electrical engineer at Amazon and Kristy teaches fourth grade at ACES. Sadie says her family has a new baby sister coming on March 4, 2018. They are standing in front of the home of Russell's parents, Bill and Lilly Hughes, probably in the 1950s after the two married Marcum sisters, Lois and Gin, and moved to Louisville to seek their fortunes.
