Citizens who regularly drive into Columbia from the Green County side of town have been asking for this sign across from the Jim Blair Park and Recreation Center to be addressed for many months. And for about that many months, I've been asking organizations, "Is this your sign?", "Is this your property?" and getting nowhere. Recently, in conversation with Sue Stivers, Executive Director of the local Tourism Commission, she said she would have no problem leading the efforts to take care of this sign that has deteriorated so much it has lost its ability to communicate positive messages for Columbia and Adair County.
