Accepting donations to go to Mountain City, TN
2024-10-25 - Columbia, KY - Photo from Mayor Pam Hoots. The Columbia/Adair County School Resource Officers are conducting a drive for the Johnson County Schools in Mountain City, Tennessee. They are taking socks, gloves/mittens, beanies/hats, blankets, sleeping bags, and cleaning supplies. A trailer is located in the parking lot behind Columbia City Hall for donations. It will be available from 6:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Donations will be accepted through October 29 and will be delivered on October 30. Pictured left to right: Mayor Pamela Hoots, SRO Mark Harris, SRO John Harris, SRO Jimmy Luttrell, and K9 Rowdy.
