Chester Taylor was the guest speaker at Adair Youth Development Center this past Friday. Chester was able to talk with the students from both an academic and vocational perspective as he holds both academic degrees as well and vocational certificates. Chester talked with the students about getting a firm foundation in life and building from there no matter what career they choose. - WES IRVIN

I shot this photo on September 3,, 2017 at 7:26amET on Sympson Lake, located in Nelson County, KY. I am a hobbyist photographer and occasionally shoot wildlife photos. I’m no expert on types of birds in Kentucky, but I do believe this is a "Kingfisher," but I do not know the exact type. - BILL BADGETT
