Candidate filing is over 2018-01-30 - Adair County Clerk Office, Ste 3, Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. The filing deadline for candidates passed no fanfare, and not activity for the day. Latecomers at 4pmCT, today, January 30, 2018 were locked out, and Nadalie Inscho, who has been somewhat of the candidate filing specialist was back to closing out the day's work, as on a regular work day. The County Clerk's office tallies each day's activities, much as banks and businesses. The candidate filings will be reported to the Secretary of State's office, and will appear online as the Frankfort office catches up. - EW.
