Around 11:30 Friday, February 22, 2018, all the vehicles in our lane were suddenly pulling to the side of Jamestown Street to allow for what looked like a 14’ mobile home barreling down on the square. Looking back, it can just be seen heading toward Campbellsville Street. It must have had an understandable challenge moving through downtown as traffic began to get backed up behind it until it could get off the square. The first garter snake spotted this year, on branch (does it have a name?) which flows behind the old Meadow Hill Inn and joins Town Creek above the Christian Church park. This one wasn't too fierce.
