2018-03-06 - Adair County Youth Development Center, 401 Appleby Drive, Columbia, KY - Photo by Wes Irvin, School Administrator.
The owner of Adversity Gym in Somerset, KY, Ian Lawler, came to AYDC on Friday, March 2, 2018. Lawler talked about the struggles he had growing up and how those struggles continued into his adult life, but he never gave up and he never stopped trying. The students really related to Lawler's story and had many questions about their own struggles. Lawler was glad to give advice and it was well received. - Wes Irvin, School Administrator
