Chuck Woodbury, pressman at Trifecta Print Design, was splitting firewood recently and discovered something he'd never seen before, a key embedded deep inside the tree. He hasn't figured out how it could have gotten there, or what the key might open. "it couldn't have been a knothole where a house key was hidden - people do that," he said, "because knotholes don't close up. The wood was actually split in the edge of Metcalfe County, at his parents house on Shady Ridge Lane, and Woodbury wonders if anybody has a good theory on how the curiosity occurred, how the key made it there.
