Stately home in Breeding, KY connects to Akin family 2018-03-26 - Southern Adair County, KY - Photo by Sheavon Taylor. This stately home in Breeding, KY has often inspired curiosity when driving the Old Breeding Loop left behind by the straightened, widened KY 61 South speeding tourists toward the Tennessee line and Dale Hollow Lake. The house has been left as it was when it still housed family activities, complete with its signature accent tree, a reminder of good places shared in past years, directly across the road from the Breeding Post Office and store. Recently it was highlighted in this photo by Sheavon Taylor with the note allowing us to know the family connected to the house, Robyn Curry and her brother Lance Burton revisiting "Ma Akin" old house in downtown Breeding, KY.
