And then, maybe it was contemplating the role of his kind, in the Easter Season, on Palm Sunday - March 25 in South Central Kentucky - when Jesus made his triumphal entry into Jerusalem, riding, Christians believe, on the back of a donkey. It reminds me of a Star Wars' creature about to burst forth with death and destruction rather than an earthly reminder of the renewal of life. At any rate, the blooming process is beginning in Flowering Dogwood.
