Scenic Metcalfe Co., KY - Double Cola sign
2018-04-21 - Metcalfe Co., KY - Photo by Larry Smith, General Manager, The Big Dawg, 99.9FM. Another landmark of a simpler time, the old building art on these general stores served as great advertising and it sold a lot of Double Cola that was bottled in Greensburg, KY. - Larry Smith, South Central Kentucky Historian and photo archivist and GM, The Big Dawg, 99.9 FM, Campbellsville, KY.

Caption Me #78288: What do you see?
2018-04-20 - Along a CM 7-County Byway - Photo by Linda Waggener. One person on our staff has already seen a dog's head with a comb-over sticking out of an ambisextrous human form with a Nehru collar. It was an interesting natural - except for infliction of deformity by a road department whacking machine, from which, in this case, it recovered nicely - work of roadside art. What do you see? and how would you caption the photo? - EW

The presentation was made in the run-up to Prom Night, which will be Saturday night, April 21, 2018.

Scenic Adair County, KY - Flower in a knothole planter
2018-04-20 - Keen-Wilson Road, South Entrance, Zion, Adair County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Haven't yet found the name of this plant (and help with an ID will be appreciated), but it seems to be thriving in its knothole planter, almost certain it is the work of the Master Designer, but if it were created by humans, it would seem to belong in one of the Japanese schools of design. It combines a beautiful plant, some moss, and brick-patterned bark in pleasing presentation. - EW
