Jenny and I drove one to Florida and back with no problems, but later that same VW blew a engine and left me stranded beside the road in Green County. Loads of people were out today at Holmes Bend Marina and at the beach and fishing piers, even before Memorial Day and the start of the summer tourist season. Up at Knifley, Arnold Patterson at Patterson's Bait & Grocery said that the store had an exceptionally busy Sunday, serving some tourist and local traffic, but, mostly, he said from the the fishing activity at Arnold's Landing.
