Counting the Votes: 22 May 2018 Primary Election
2018-05-22 - Basement, Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Shortly before 6pmCT, the I.T. staff for the election vote tabulation had everything ready. They are all Deputy County Clerks, from left, Vicki Hodges, Nadalie Inscho, and Shauna Grant. There was a notable hitch in the operation, as voting machine cards were taken received by Becky Rodgers and Sheila Hayes in an almost steady stream, results were printed by here and distributed by Election Board member ACSO Deputy Josh Durbin distributed copies to Board Member Ricky Collins, who read the results to the recorder, Sheila Blair, and then distributed copies of each precinct results to the media, in a very smooth, efficient process. Adair County's Election results were online at the Secretary of State's office very early in the evening. County Clerk Lisa Greer coordinated the tabulation. - EW
