"Earlier in that same day we had been at a cemetery in Adair county and when I was walking the rows this crazy-acting Robin kept swooping down on me. I kept moving and it stopped, but when I came back that way it started up again. I snooped around a little and found it's nest in the flowers on a headstone. I snapped a couple of quick pictures and then stayed away so it could return to the nest. "I enjoyed Joe Lynn Barbee's angry bird Killdeer photo. It jogged my memory of a similar picture I took a few years ago. We were in the Russell Springs City Cemetery taking pictures and I came upon a Killdeer nest in an old rotting stump. One of the parents did the "injured bird" act, hopping away from the nest dragging it's "broken" wing (it kept looking back to make sure I was following).
