Smoke-free Adair County student workers at C/AC banquet

2018-06-01 - Roberta D. Cranmer Dining Center, 430 Helen Flatt Drive, Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Adair Health Department students helping Health Educator Jelaine Harlow this year have graduated from ACHS but took time to help again at the Chamber of Commerce banquet. Getting the message out about the importance of designating all public areas smoke-free are, from left, Charles Jones, Owen Grant and Summer Cross. Owen helped Jelaine with the Casey County "reward and remind" program exercise where he asked at various stores to buy cigarettes -- if he had to document his age the seller was rewarded and if he was not asked his age the tobacco seller was reminded that age must be asked to protect minors.

(Ad) Thank you, from Adair Co. Judge Executive Mike Stephens

2018-05-31 - Columbia, Adair County, KY - Photo Campaign photo from candidate.

Adair County:

I want to THANK YOU for electing me almost four years ago to serve as your Adair County Judge Executive. I want to THANK YOU for your continued confidence and support in the recent Primary election. THANK YOU for your enthusiasm about the progress we are making together here in Adair County.

To my family and friends, THANK YOU for working tirelessly to help promote the vision we have for Adair County. To our many great county employees, THANK YOU for working hard everyday to make Adair County better and taking so much pride in your work. To the business owners, new and existing, THANK YOU for providing much needed goods and services to our citizens. To those that shop local, THANK YOU for supporting our local businesses. To current and potential investors, THANK YOU for looking at Adair County with a clearer picture of our growth capability. To those that greet me with excitement in their voices about our growth, THANK YOU for understanding the potential we have and fueling the upbeat and promising atmosphere we see and hear all over Adair County.

My pledge to you is that I will continue to keep working hard for Adair County. I have not been and will not be an "office manager" that sits behind a desk all day doing what is required but never going the extra mile. I will continue to push to secure every business, industry or funding dollar available. If an opportunity does not present itself, I will continue to seek it out. We must be proactive. We must be bold. We must keep up the momentum. Our time is now. The foundation has been laid, we must continue to build upon it.

I humbly ask for your vote and support again this November so that we may keep moving Adair County forward together.

THANK YOU

/S/Michael Lee Stephens

Paid for by the candidate, Michael Lee Stephens
