Old Macks along scenic South Central Kentucky roadways. - I - ROBERT ELLIS
2018-06-03 - Photo by Robert Ellis. There's a pair of these old Mack Trucks sitting just at the woods edge as you head to Sparksville. Tiptoeing through some poison ivy, I opted to just focus on one of the grills of the pairs of trucks. My editing of the photo was "heavy handed" but I thought the pic would be improved by taking some artistic liberties . . . - ROBERT ELLIS. (c) Robert Ellis Woodworking.com. Paired Photo. Brave homeowner not afraid to encourage wisteria
2018-06-03 - Columbia, Adair County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. It wasn't spectacular, but it stood out in a glimpse of a home in Columbia which embraces all the wonderful heritage plants that inspire the poet in us, and remind us of a slower, better time. Wisteria trained and nurtured can be a spectacular sight in itself, climbing up to 66 feet and spreading laterally by as much as a half that, according to the article on the genus online: Wiki/Wisteria. This photo was in a remember-this-later-when-the-time-is-right folder, taken May 20, 2018 and posted today. - EW
