Spring colors of Red & Green - Sat 2 Jun 2018

2018-06-04 - Pelham Branch Road from Cane Valley Mill Road, Adair County, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Pelham Branch Road appears as a country lane or private paved farm lane as it leaves the top of the frame through the red farm buildings. The scene is seen from Cane Valley Mill Road. Both are State Maintained, CVM as KY 767 and PBR as KY 2188. The intersection is commonly known as the Crossroads. However, things are curiouser and curiouser at the Crossroads. Going straight, east to west, Cane Valley Mill Road retains its name, but changes KY Highway Numbers. Going north, Pelham Branch Road, a continuation of Dillon Street in Columbia, changes KY Highway numbers but continues to be Pelham Branch Road. - EW
