"This scene was from this past weekend and was taken in Fleming County, Kentucky. My initial interest was in the tractor and manure spreader, but these guys wandered in and kept getting in the way; and I'm glad they did." - ROBERT ELLIS. Photo (c) Robert Ellis.

Caption Me: What's going on with Million Gallon Raider Bob?

2018-06-27 - CAUD Tank at Holladay Place, New Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Tourists headed east on the LBN/Cumberland Parkway, not familiar with the CAUD's very excellent maintenance program, might have seen this and thought H20 was exiting the wrong way from the largest water tower in the system - Raider Bob, the million gallon tank at Holladay Place. There's a logical explanation, one would assume. Maybe you can help, or help caption. The photo was taken at 12:59pmCT, Tuesday, June 26, 2018. - EW

Wildflowers of KY: Stunning combination of color along a country byway

2018-06-26 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Common Mullein with its tall stem and tiny yellow flowers accompanied a gorgeously deep black green juniper - aka Eastern Red Cedar showing her beautiful blue berries - provided an artistically unarrangement in a pleasant, restfully eye-fluttering way. A gift no neatnik could improve upon, and a treasure for those of us who appreciate leaving well enough alone. - EW
