Kayaking on the Green River, Green County, KY

Saturday, July 7, 2018 was a beautiful day for a paddle in Green County on the mighty Green River. The water was running a little slow, making for the a peaceful, lazy paddle. Robyn Curry, Linda Helm Kelly and I had a wonderful day.

Marker marks Kemp, KY Bridge Dedication, Simon Finn

A handsome marker at Kemp, Adair County, KY reads: "SIMON FINN BRIDGE, KEMP, KY - Mr. Finn (1892-1978) was a merchant and community leader who lived and operated a general store here from 1926-1978. This bridge was build by Lewis Garrison Construction Co. and dedicated by Green Co. Judge Mary Ann Baron on April 5, 2010." - EW. Photo Friday, July 6, 2018.
