What's going on here? Mystery #79688

2018-07-10 - ???? - Photo ?????.
Simply compare to recent puzzles of the UFO sort. And that's a clue. This isn't a UFO. It occurred one week ago, tomorrow. This puzzle is posted July 10, 2018. Can you name the building location, and describe the situation, especially the photo enhanced-emphasized light in the background, the source of its emanation, approximately? Who might be responsible. Whether you know because of news on CM. - Puzzle Creator. Hint: Go with your first impression. And our thanks to this Mystery creator, one of the most under-appreciated people we know, besides you - you know the feeling.

Liam is getting in some summer swim time

2018-07-10 - Photo from Taft Neal.
Back in February, at four months of age, little Liam came to live with his uncle Taft Neal. Ever since then, "Little Man" as he was called, has been training his uncle to be a good parent. They made it through the winter, then spring and now five months later, they are enjoying summer activities together. - LW

Early Barbie dolls

2018-07-09 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, columbiamagazine.com.
When I was a little girl, before the official dolls were available to me, young ears of corn, like these pictured, made perfect Barbies. The long blond corn silks were brushed back, eyes, eyebrows, nose and lips were colored on and suddenly there was Barbie. The shape of the body wasn't the Barbie-extreme, but with plenty of imagination, it worked fine. After play time, the hair would begin to dry out and the make shift doll would be shucked and fed to the horses. - LW
