New Taylor County Superintendent Jr. Higdon

Taylor County Schools will begin the 2018-19 school year next Wednesday, August 8, 2018. New Taylor County Superintendent Jr. Higdon, above, on the air with me this morning, Thursday, August 2, 2018. Higdon talked school safety. He is really appreciative of Taylor County Sheriff Allen Newton who is be adding another School Resource Officer (SRO). Paz-Holley Project soars over $80,000 mark with FFNB gifts

Columbia's First & Farmers National Bank and dozens of its employees gave donations totaling $2,025 to push the Paz-Holley Project over $80,000 and over 75% of the way to the goal of $108,000 to buy the children's home. Pictured are many of the donors - many more who gave were unable to be in the photo but were happy to be able to help.
