Emily Wall dresses up the old Welcome to Columbia sign

Emily Wall brought beauty to the old welcome to Columbia sign that is scheduled to be removed and replaced when the City staff can work it in. Photographer Candace Robertson took this picture of Emily on August 5, 2018. She said, "my sweet model is ACHS Senior Emily Wall." Once this sign is removed, the City Council will vote which of the more recent welcome signs will be used for this replacement. Emily is the daughter of Carmen & Robbie Wall of Columbia. - LW

U.S. Marshals seek Pennsylvania man who threatened the president - Shawn Richard Christy, 27, 5'10" tall, weighs approximately 160 pounds, white male with a light complexion, has a tattoo of a cross on his right upper arm, has short dark blonde hair and a beard. Fugitive thought to be tied to Green County, KY. Clay Ridge, Portland, Milltown Areas of Adair County advised to be very alert for any missing vehicles; report any suspect activity to 911. - Mike Keltner

Monday morning donation puts P-H Project at 85% of goal

These Paz-Holley Project committee members were proud to begin the new week receiving a donation from Tia Smith White who responded to the business challenge from the new location of her T.E.C.E. Title Services. P-H Chairman Rick Wilson said with this contribution the fund for the home for the Paz-Holley children is at 85% of the goal. Community Ed painting class offered at Edmonton, KY
