As he introduced dignitaries and guests at his First Choice Health Care open house, CEO Dr. Eric Loy, at right, pointed out Sue Stivers in the crowd and said, "for anyone who may not know me, she could be my reference -- from childhood to today. Both are natives of Russell County from large families. He is becoming known as a trail blazer in healthcare across Kentucky with his Cumberland Family Medical Centers and she has been instrumental in a lifetime of leadership in family and economic development in the state. They shared a hug after the opening presentations.

First Choice Immediate Care and the adjacent Taylor Regional Health's Specialty Physicians and Diagnostic Center next door, celebrated with open houses in Columbia at the Pinewood Shopping Center August 22, 2018, with a large crowd in attendance. Leaders present at the event, from left, are: Congressman James Comer, Columbia Mayor Curtis Hardwick, CEO and medical director of First Choice Dr. Eric Loy, Taylor Regional Healthcare CEO Jane Wheatley, Adair County Judge/Executive Michael Stephens, State Senator Max Wise and Field Representative for Senator Rand Paul, Brian Mills.

The musical is co-directed by LWC Assistant to the Director of Theatre, Jeremy Cloyd, left and LWC Theatre Senior, Caitlin Corder. The two also have starring roles.

The banana pudding donor reward starts at QP open house

Paz-Holley Project committee member Stacey Hatcher Wilson has started creating the rewards to the businesses that donated $1,000 each. Here she holds one of (only half left and going fast) the famous banana puddings she pledged to make for any of the businesses matching her 40-for-40 challenge made in June to push the total on up to the $108,000 goal to buy the house for the family of twelve. She baked and served this pudding for her friends at the Quality Personnel open house Wednesday, August 23, 2018.

ACHS FFA Agricultural Mechanics team - 2018 State Fair Champions!!!

The Adair County High School Agricultural Mechanics team was awarded the champion chapter award which included the tractor restoration, bar stool, picnic table, grill, and a gun rack. ACHS FFA Floriculture team wins 2018 State Fair Championship
