The Changing Face of Green River Commerce Park - 25 Aug 2018

2018-08-25 - Across Soybean field, Keltner Road, and Heartland Parkway, a view of a Green River Commerce Park - Photo by ED Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
The Columbia/Adair County Economic Development Authority will be able to show a much more desirable Green River Commerce Park (GRCP) to prospective tenants, thanks to their own facilitation and the vision of anchor tenant ATS Mobility. Site work was virtually complete on the reshaping of the entrance to GRCP on Saturday, August 25, 2018, when this photo was taken. Just a few pieces of earthmoving equipment remained on site. The work was started mid-June 2018, Greer Excavating of Knifley, KY, owned by Greg Greer, a member of a family whose name is synonymous with site reformation. The completion clears the way for ATS Mobility/Wilkerson Transport to build another manufacturing facility, which may see the companies' employment increasing to 50 people. - EW
