Adair Co. SAR manages traffic diversion around head-on collision

Adair County Search & Rescue Member Robert Montgomery motions traffic to re-enter Southbound Campbellsville Road as traffic was diverted from Grant Lane through the Five-Star parking lot while first responders and towing services were clearing the scene of a two-vehicle, 2006 Dodge Charger vs 2013 Ford Explorer headon collision. According to Columbia Police, the Dodge Charge was northbound in the southbound lane. The driver of the charger is facing multiple charges as a result of the accident. Elisha Crawhorn gets dental screening at Family Resources

Elisha Crawhorn, Kindergarten student in Mrs. Laura Keltner’s class, is all smiles after she had her dental screening and received her gift pack with a new toothbrush, toothpaste, and other dental goodies. Cumberland Family Medical Center, in conjunction with Family Resource Youth Services Centers, offered preventative service for students with permission from parents. This included an exam, cleaning, x-rays, and sealants, if needed. - PG

She is special assistant to President Michael V. Carter and a 1965 alumna of Campbellsville College. Heritage Day chapel will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 9amCT/10amET at Ransdell Chapel, 401 N Hoskins Avenue, Campbellsville, KY. All chapel services are free and open to the public.

Searching for deep meaning this morning, found this scene, which must portend something, but would leave that to others with the ordination to interpret such matters. And hope some learned ornithologist might ID the birds. the two lower ones look like twins, sibs, or first cousin kin, and may the offspring of the supreme, alpha. Maybe not. - EW
