Corn painted the landscape green in July, now being harvested
2018-09-01 - Outside of Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Cornfields like this one have soared to beautiful green heights this summer and are now being harvested. I love to observe the stages of its growth each spring, from planting to knee high, then waist high, then in summer growing to heights taller than the farmers who planted it, crowding out buildings and painting the landscape deep, solid green. - LW
