Last rows of summer corn crops standing

Distinguished Young Woman competition

Elizabeth Sullivan has been named the Taylor County Distinguished Young Woman. She, along with fellow seniors Reagan Knight, Hayley Stapleton and Abbie Dickens and 10 students from Taylor County High School, competed in the 2019 DYW program on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018.

Jennifer Willis qualifies for International Martial Arts Festival

Jennifer Willis, a student at ACMS and Columbia Martial Arts Center, received first place in a weapons competition in Elizabethtown, KY, with a score of 9.99.

Jennifer also received a third place metal in the open handed forms division.

Jennifer's first place win qualifies her for the International Martial Arts Festival in Orlando, Florida.
