Tyler Grant

2018-09-24 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Alice Curry.
Tyler Grant poses with his Mechanimal.

After listening to the book Mechanimals, students created a model of animal using scrap materials. Their animal had to include at least some metal, and had to be able to meet its basic survival needs (food, shelter, oxygen, shelter.) This was the culminating assessment for our study of organism structure/function.

Please continue to pray with us for Ed

2018-09-22 - Columbia - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Continued prayers are requested for my husband, ColumbiaMagazine.com editor Ed Waggener. His doctors tell us they've done everything they can on this 9th day since his cardiac arrest and that now his recovery is in God's hands. Ed is pictured at left enjoying a recent election event, one of his favorite subjects to cover, when ballot positions were drawn for the Adair County General Election November 6, 2018. At right is his favorite fall flower, Ironweed, from one of our recent photo journeys. Thank you to everyone who has been praying, visiting, calling and messaging. - Linda Waggener
