Seasonal confusation 2018-10-18 - Shelbyville, KY - Photo by Pen. We've been watching the trees closely for signs of fall colors, and some of the maples have been hinting at yellows and oranges. However, what we haven't been expecting is pink. Apparently, the recent high temperatures and rains tricked this crabapple into an October bloom, even after it had dropped most of its leaves for the year.
