Bouchard, who is the official spokesperson for Kentucky Proud, spoke to all of the students about setting goals. Her official platform is "Being the Voice for Kentucky's Children." A day trip east from our area found this awesome scene of the bridge spanning the Cumberland River just ahead of Cumberland Falls, complete with beginning fall color on the trees surrounding it. Campbellsville Elementary School students are learning about inherited traits. In Patty Haley's third-grade class, students are studying that, while everyone is unique, they also inherit specific traits from their parents. As an exercise, students created their own monsters. The monsters had three inherited traits from their parents, and two learned behaviors. After writing about their monsters, students drew a picture of them and gave them names.
