CPD's Gunner with evidence found in drug arrest

A drug investigation that began on Adair County public school property by School Resource Officers Kevin Atwood and Charles Greer resulted in an arrest nine miles out in the county earlier this week. Officers received information from students that another student had been seen in possession of drugs. Further investigation led them to obtain a search warrant for a residence and resulted in an arrest.

Day trip to Elizabethtown, KY found the cutest pumpkin

Larue County, KY -- on a run to E-town Thursday, October 25, 2018, Jenny and I stopped by Crawford Farms, and with the mom's permission, took this picture of the cutest pumpkin in all the patch. Then in Elizabethtown we came across a Neighborhood Market sign posting gas prices at $2.39 per gallon.

Aaron Branham and Brent Moore help with Wish List supplies

Aaron Branham and Brent Moore volunteered their help with the Wish List organization this year. They are both from families that have been helped by having the Ronald McDonald House close to the hospital, available to stay together in a health crises.

Little Miss Charlie Perdue has her arms outstretched ready to receive donations and help with the Ronald McDonald House 11th Annual Wish List Drive October 23, 2018. To her right is Telissa Moore, whose son Brent, was in the hospital after his birth - she is part of the committee that always works to supply the homes that are so meaningful to families needing to stay close to their hospitalized children.
