Bill spotted this colorful abstract on a visit to the Nelson Co. monastery a few years back. According to Wikipedia, "Gethsemani is the oldest monastery in the United States that is still operating."

Happy Fall from the Squarecrows on the Square

The fun season of the downtown Squarecrows is ending this week. People have wondered why the Squarecrows have been such a hit around the old Adair County Courthouse year after year. I believe it's because almost every one of them, like this one, wore a smile - especially the ones that carried photos of real folks. And every smile is appreciated.
