OCC National Collection Week is November 12-19, 2018. Locally boxes can be dropped off at the Columbia First Church of the Nazarene, Wheet Fellowship Hall.

The United States Flag will greet visitors at the entrance of the Kentucky National Guard Armory, 1503 E Broadway in Campbellsville today. The Kentucky version of the Vietnam Wall is on display now through 7pmCT-8pmET, complete with names and information.

WWII Veteran Joe Spires accepts quilt of honor

Mr. Joe Spires accepted this quilt made and given by the women of the local Quilter's Guild. Mr. Spires is 98 years old and a WWII Veteran.

VFW holds traditional program honoring Veterans

The VFW Post 6097, Columbia, KY held its traditional Veterans Day breakfast Saturday morning, 10 November 2018 in the new building at 500 Greenhills Road, Columbia, KY. The breakfast is for all veterans and their spouses/significant others.
