The First Church of the Nazarene is the host church for the Adair County and regional drop off center.

LWC Campus Kitchen Turkey Palooza

The third-annual Lindsey Wilson Campus Kitchen Turkey Palooza saw two dozen LWC students, college staff and volunteers prep, cook and deliver traditional Thanksgiving food to 56 food-insecure clients in Columbia-Adair County on Saturday. More than 25 bags of holiday grocery staples were made possible because of donations from the college community, the Columbia-Adair County community and event partner, IGA of Columbia.

2018 Cram the Cruiser food drive
 2018-11-19 - Frankfort, KY - Photo courtesy Kentucky State Police. The Kentucky State Police will begin accepting donations for their ninth annual "Cram The Cruiser" holiday food drive on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. Designed to provide non-perishable food items for families in need throughout the Commonwealth, the campaign will continue through Monday, December 10.
Donations can be dropped at any KSP Post during the drive. There will also be a special collection event at the Kroger at 181 S. Highway 127, Russell Springs, KY from 10amCT to 3pmCT on Dec. 1, 2018.

New flashing yellow arrow signals to be installed
 2018-11-19 - Columbia, KY - Photo courtesy Kentucky Department of Transportation. The new arrow signals can reduce the risk of making left turns across lanes of oncoming traffic by providing more detailed information to drivers. They will not change existing traffic patterns.
