ACHS Senior Brandon Hagy won First Place as an individual in the Capital City Welding Contest. Brandon is the son of Shane Patterson and Dana Neat.

This is a file photo from among Ed's favorite foods of this holiday. He liked both ham and turkey plus lima bean casserole, dressing with gravy, sweet potatoes, broccoli casserole, mac and cheese, yeast rolls with real butter and cranberry salad. He only tolerated the little bacon-wrapped weenies with toothpick holders.

In case you missed seeing the ACES animation video at the School Board meeting or at the Veteran's Program, you can click this link to watch the animation created just for the Veterans program. It was featured at the Adair County Elementary School's annual "Thankful for Our Veterans Program" on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. Fifth grade students under the direction of Social Studies Teachers Angie Smith and Amanda Webster conducted this event. ACES fifth grade students Natalie Bardin and Gabby Kemp are pictured here when they showed their work at the School Board meeting last week.

Lily and Paisley make stocking donations

Mrs. Newell's class donates stockings

Mrs. Newell's homeroom class at Adair County Elementary School donated stockings filled with toys they would want to receive if they were in the hospital during the holidays. The stockings will be going to Norton Children's Hospital through Kayla's Rising Above Childhood Cancer Fund. They also including handmade cards for the kids who will be receiving the stockings.
