Second night of Jaycees radio auction will begin at 6pmCT

Brandy Held kept up with the most recent items for auction and the top bid amounts in the first night of The annual Adair County Jaycees radio auction fundraiser which is underway again tonight, December 6, 2018, from 6-9pmCT. Items that have been donated are being auctioned to the highest call-in bidders and proceeds will be used to help families at Christmas with food and toys.

Sheriff-elect Brockman at Sheriff's Conference in Louisville

Over a 7 day period, the newly elected sheriffs are being trained on the constitutional duties of a sheriff in addition to the expected law enforcement duties they perform in their respective counties.

This is the 89th conference sponsored by the Kentucky Sheriff's Association. There were 73 returning sheriffs and 47 newly elected sheriffs in attendance.

this view of work going on at Clay Hill Memorial Forest reminds Campbellsville University of the honor it received this fall. CHMF promotes conservation by increasing public awareness of the aesthetic, recreational and economic importance of forests and offers science training for teachers and children. The 158-acre educational and research woodland is managed by Campbellsville University as a regional center for environmental education and research on eastern deciduous forests.
