Trayton Stargel medals in 2 wrestling competitions 2018-12-10 - Louisville, KY - Photo by Amanda Taylor. Trayton Stargel (left, and far right), a 13 year old, 8th grader at Adair County Middle School, had a busy weekend wrestling. He brought home not only 1 medal, but 2. Saturday, December 8, 2018, Trayton traveled to Taylor Mill, KY, just outside of Cincinnati to compete in the Woodland Middle School Wildcat Classic wrestling tournament. Trayton wrestles for the Taylor County Middle School B Team and the Taylor County Youth Wrestling team. He competed in the 130 pound weight class and brought home a 3rd place medal where a total of 21 competitors were competing for the top 3 spots. Then, on Sunday, December 9, 2018, Trayton traveled to Fern Creek High School in Louisville, KY, to compete in the Elementary and J.V. Middle School wrestling tournament. He competed in the 136 pound weight class and brought home another 3rd place medal where a total of 7 competitors were competing for the top 3 spots, including top three state finalists.
