On December 16, 2018 at 5pmCT, Columbia Methodist Church, 202 Burkesville Street, Columbia, will offer a "Blue Christmas" service for those who feel down at Christmas. The service will focus on the deep hope that we have in Jesus and will also include meaningful music, hymns, and Scripture readings. Everyone is welcome!

Polar Express Float takes 2nd Place

Second Place in the Columbia Christmas Parade Float Division went to the Adair County High School FFA for their amazing job on re-creating the Polar Express. Third Place in the float division went to Great Oaks.

Chamber of Commerce board member Bobby Bowe was busy lining up those in the parade. Through damp weather, the crew of volunteers remained steadfast and did a wonderful job with the annual parade.

Watching the Christmas Parade

Tiffany writes, "The race was on. Nothing tastes better to a youngster than captured parade candy - it's free, thrown own in giant handfuls, and quickly scooped up by droves of waiting children. The youth photographed were caught up in the moment of collecting sugary goodness, under the careful eye of their parents of course."
