Announcing Haydon Robert Goode
 2018-12-20 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Bruce Bow Photography, Tompkinsville, KY. Cory and Brittany Raines-Goode would like to announce the birth of their son, Haydon Robert Goode. Haydon was born December 14, 2018, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He weighed 6 lbs, 12 oz and was 19 & 1/4 in long.
Haydon's maternal grandparents are Richard and Debra Raines of Columbia, and his paternal grandparents are Bobby and Brenda Goode of Glasgow, KY.

Lake Cumberland State Resort Park and Dale Hollow State Resort Park provide excellent accommodations for anglers fishing these two world-class smallmouth bass lakes over the holiday season.

Busy time at Egypt Christian Church
 2018-12-20 - Adair Co., KY - Photo by Robbie Bell. Robbie writes, "It is a busy and blessed time at Egypt Christian Church! Each year we have a special service and families are encouraged to bring and place ornaments on the tree in the sanctuary.
They also bring canned and non-perishable food items wrapped and placed under the tree. This week those items were taken to J.O.Y. Ministries to distribute to needy families."
Note: J.O.Y. Ministries is in the midst of a fundraiser to help the homeless and near homeless in Adair County. If you'd like to help, you can either mail a check to J.O.Y. Ministries, PO Box 114, Columbia, KY 42728, or give online at joy-ministries.org.

Tarters in Louisville with FCA

FCA students raised donations in December, and then delivered clothing and supplies to a Louisville outreach church. Afterwards, they drove down to the river and took time to minister to the homeless by handing out coffee, cake snacks, thermals, and the ziplock goodie bags.
