Mitzi Bault writes: "This ladder tree over Green River was posted about a year and half ago as a mystery picture and no one could ever guess where it was so I'll let readers know now. We drove to Arnold’s Landing. If you start paddling up Casey Creek it’s on a little inlet. And yes, I had to do it, I climbed those wood planks and jumped into the water, oh what fun!!! Never let age stop you! I am looking forward to doing it again this Spring at 62. My older brother just shook his head. And if my Robyn had been there, she would have said, "NO." - MB

Amazon camper force swells Taylor population

The camper force of people who bring their homes with them to work the temporary jobs available at Amazon.com have increased the population until after this season's delivery time ends. this is a picture of the camp across Columbia Road from the plant. They will pack up their houses and move on to the next available jobs, or maybe to a vacation, after the Christmas shopping season ends here.

AC Teacher Sammy Hughes shares Rosenwald School history

ACMS Teacher Sammy Hughes shared his vast collection of photos from his family's collection at the Adair Heritage Association meeting. He was asked to speak about the Rosenwald School at the quarterly meeting at the Adair County Public Library. Sign restoration specialist Ed Vincent was also in attendance.
