Christmas Eve 2018: Hope to be cherished
2018-12-25 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Sharon Whitehurst. Sharon writes, "Christmas Eve 2018 is already relegated to the category of ‘Christmas Past.’ I was blessed to witness this sunset scene while walking along Turkey Flatt Road, returning from our mailbox. It's easy to understand why pagan cultures celebrated the Winter Solstice. The promise and anticipation of slowly returning light and warmth were, still are, a hope to be cherished."
