Middle School Basketball

The Adair County Middle School boys basketball teams travelled to Campbellsville on December 6 for a series of games against Campbellsville Middle School.

In the sixth-grade game, the score was ACMS 39 to CMS 21. Final score of the seventh-grade game was ACMS 58 to CMS 19. Final score of the eighth-grade game was ACMS 47 to CMS 27.

Adair Heritage Association receives donation of ballot box

This piece of Adair County heritage was donated to the Adair Heritage Association by Abe and Emily Cross. They discovered it, with ballots inside, while remodeling Emily’s grandparents, Orville and Shirley Holt’s, house in the Joppa area of Adair County. This interesting piece of history can be seen at the Adair County Public Library, 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, in the Genealogy Section.
