While he did that, his wife Gracie went over the information needed to escape from a burning building. There are only two minutes to get out from anywhere in the house - two minutes! The Bennett property, a little over twenty acres and this brick ranch style home, was purchased last week as the year 2018 comes to a close by R.F. Enterprises of Pasadena, CA at a price of $1,100,000. Folks excited about it say the deed shows no other details about the buyer but there has been speculation for some time about a possible truck stop at this exit of the Cumberland Parkway where it intersects with Hwy 61, Burkesville Road, Columbia's second exit. Day Trip: photographing high water at Snake Creek Landing 2018-12-31 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Creeks, rivers and lakes are too high right now for kayaking but Mitzi Bault was my guide to one of the put-ins on a sunny day in November to explore conditions. Where Snake Creek meets up with Green River, there's a good place - Snake Creek Landing - but it was under water when we were there. Mitzi is shown in the photo at left taking a picture of where the landing would be if the water was at the normal level.
