She brings more than 20 years of strategic marketing, customer relations, communication, and event planning experience to T.J. Regional Health. She is married to Craig Biggs, Associate Athletic Director at WKU. They have two sons, Alex, 22, and Mason, 18.

Derrick Helm is new City of Columbia Attorney

The new Columbia City Attorney, Derrick G. Helm, is a lifelong resident of Russell County, KY who started practicing law in Jamestown with Bertram & Wilson.

He is a 2006 graduate of Western Kentucky University and of Northern Kentucky University's Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2009.

In addition to serving as the Columbia City Attorney, he also serves as General Counsel to the Lake Cumberland Area Development District and the Lake Cumberland Community Action Agency. He and his wife Terran Cross Helm have two children.

Little Arthur Colt Warren may have been the youngest guest to stand with family as the Adair County elected officials were sworn in Sunday, January 6, 2019. His grandfather, Circuit Clerk Dennis Loy, took the oath of office administered by Circuit Judge Judy Vance-Murphy. He is held by his Mom Gracie.
