Snow is at about the one-inch mark in southern Adair County as school officials are out checking for the possibility of safe travel this morning. At 4:46amCT Transportation Director David Jones called from the Hwy 61 Country Mart in Breeding, shown here, and announced that Schools will be closed in Adair. A plan had been made for a delay, but with the snow added to the extreme weather, it was decided there will be no school in Adair today, Wednesday, January 30, 2019.
