Among the general business matters, Caleb Irvin was nominated, and has accepted, being named Henrietta Scott's replacement on the Tourism Board, pending confirmation by the City of Columbia. For his talk, titled "Water Beneath our Feet: Understanding Groundwater Flow in Taylor County and South Central Kentucky", Dr. Tobin will describe the techniques used for mapping underground water flow paths and will present data from ongoing KGS watershed mapping projects at the Homeplace Farm in Taylor County.
