Tommy writes, "As you may know sunrise/sunset can be my favorite subjects, and I will take different phases of each one of the same and end up with a lot of pictures that don't pass the critique test. When I review them on a bigger screen then the deleting process begins, but this particular sunrise that was taken back in January escaped the delete button."

LWC Women's Basketball tops Life 77-70

J'Nayah Hall was one of four Blue Raiders who scored in double figures to avenge last Saturday's regular-season finale loss to Life University. Hall ended the game with 15 points and nine rebounds.

Birds of Kentucky: Northern Mockingbird

All About Birds has this to say about the Northern Mockingbird: "The Northern Mockingbird enjoys making its presence known. It usually sits conspicuously on high vegetation, fences, eaves, or telephone wires, or runs and hops along the ground. Found alone or in pairs throughout the year, mockingbirds aggressively chase off intruders on their territory."

Magistrate Terry Hadley welcomed back on the job

Adair County District 7 Magistrate Terry Hadley was welcomed back to Fiscal Court duty at the special called meeting Thursday, February 28, 2019. He had experienced a health challenge that kept him home for several weeks. Adair County Judge Executive Gale Cowan shared the picture and said she was so happy to say Magistrate Hadley is back! In the picture are, from left, District 5 Magistrate Billy Dean Coffey, District 6 Magistrate Greg Caldwell, CJE Cowan and Magistrate Hadley.
