Clover and Lady have new homes! 2019-03-06 - Adair Co., KY - Photo by Tiffany Kessler. UPDATE: Both Clover and Lady have been adopted. Left: Here comes the sweetest BIG gal currently up for adoption - meet Clover. What a beautiful mix, the Pyrenees really shows in her size and mildness toward people. Clover is around one-year-old and weighs 70 lbs. Don't let her size fool you, she is truly a gently giant. She was surrendered by her previous owners for chasing horses and cattle so she would do well with a fenced in yard. She does excellent on a leash and gets along splendidly with other dogs and cats. Great personality and very funny. Right: If you're looking for a sweet natured, calm pet to add to your family - meet Lady. A mix breed, she is timid and young (so plenty of time for training). She is beige with a bob tail. Lady seems excellent with other dogs and cats and I don't think there's any worries about her attempting to be the leader of the pack. She's not good on a leash so a fenced yard would work well with her. She loves laying her head in your hands or lap. As a young dog, her shyness keeps her from being overly active. Clover and Lady are available at Green River Animal Shelter, 455 Appleby Dr, Columbia. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 10am-4pmCT; Saturday 10am-2pmCT; Closed Monday, Thursday, and Sunday.
