School Board recognizes newest safety officer, Annie 2019-03-28 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Superintendent Pamela Stephens announced at the March School Board meeting that there is now an SRO at each of the four schools - Kevin Atwood, Charles Greer, Mark Harris and the newest, John Harris. She also introduced the fifth member of the team, the newest safety officer, Canine Narcotic Specialist Annie the police dog, who can sniff out five different illegal substances. Stephens thanked the Board for their support in getting the police dog to add even more weight to the commitment of keeping every student safe in Adair County schools.
